IPEVO Cardboard Booth
For the 2007 Taipei IT Month Expo, XRANGE
created a unique 72㎡ corrugated cardboard booth for IPEVO that
can be completely recycled after the 9-day expo. The concept is
a deliberate move to counter the prevalent use-and-toss expo mentality,
and to create a unique brand experience with an intent environmental
sensitivity. Recycled corrugated cardboard is used as structure,
surface finish material and display setting. To further minimized
waste, hollow structures are used as oppose to solid horizontal
stacking for better material-efficient and structurally rigidity.
1mx1m "base pallets" with a 1-ton loading capacity form the floor
and stage, light-weigh "stand pallets" are stacked as display islands;
while life-sized cutout user scenarios "stories" compliments the
products as backdrops.
